Electrical Engineering, Southern Methodist University IEEE Seminar: Radar Technology UCLA Extension: Communications Systems Networking Microwave Circuit Design David Zimny has been a consultant after retiring as a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology from Southern Polytechnic State University. David has developed courses in RF communications systems, microwave devices and antennas and was director of the Wilder Communications Center and was chosen as both Outstanding Faculty and Outstanding Technical Faculty He has been active in the IEEE, electrical engineering professional society as well as serving on the Public Broadcasting Association of Metropolitan Atlanta Board of Directors. He was also a member of the Information Technology Council of the University Center in Georgia. David has been a lecturer for Learning Tree International and Dashcourses, providing training programs in high performance local and wide area networks, wireless networks and fiber-optic communications systems for industry professionals.
