Can I take courses without following the career progression framework?

If you wish to attain the DCS credential you must complete all courses in your selected track.

Against each course we publish a minimum recommended experience requirement that you need to gain the maximum value from a particular course.

If you would like to take the course outside of the framework we will need to verify your competency levels.

When do I receive my course completion certificate?

To earn your certificate you must pass the final course exam. These are taken online once you have completed the course. On passing the examination you wilol be able to print off a copy of your certificate through the My.DCPro education portal.

How do I claim Professional Development Hours (PDHs) or Continuing Education Units (CEUs)?

In most cases, presentation of your certificate to the applicability professional body will suffice. We are accredited by a number of professional associations that work in and around the data center space click here for a full list.

Due to the volume of students DCD trains, we cannot issue certificates directly to accrediting institutions on a student’s behalf.

Because of the variable nature of continuing education awards across different professional bodies some will require more extensive details on the nature and content of the course. We have a full disclosure policy with other professionals organisations and are happy to engage with them directly on your behalf to gain their recognition of your achievement.
