Learning Management System FAQ
How do I access the new Learning Management System(LMS)?
You can log into your account using the ‘Log in’ tab on the navigation menu. You will then be able to access the LMS from your dashboard
If you already have an account with DCProfessional Development, you will be able to log in with your existing username and password. If you have forgotten your password you’ll be able to reset it here https://www.dc-professional.com/my-account/lost-password/.
What hardware/software will I need to access the course?
All of our courses run on any device, PC, MAC, iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch or any Android tablet or smartphone. In terms of software, all you’ll need is an internet browser. Our Learning Management System runs in HTML5 so make sure you have downloaded the latest versions. Supported browsers include IE, Safari, Chrome, Firefox, Opera.
I was in the middle of an online course, do I need to start over?
You should be able to log into the LMS and find your classroom and online courses as you left them. If you were in the middle of an online course presentation, you may lose progress and need to repeat some of the content. If you have completed the presentation you’ll be able to progress to the final exam in the new LMS.
If you’re unsure whether your online course progress is correctly reflected in the new LMS please email [email protected].
Can I continue to monitor my team’s progress?
You will have access to an even more comprehensive range of reports enabling you to analyze your team’s progress by course, department or even individual students. You will be able to receive regular reports directly to your inbox.
Access your bespoke reports by clicking on the Admin panel. If you have any questions about reporting please email [email protected].
How long will a course take to complete?
We estimate that an online module will take approximately 8 hours to complete, although depending on your experience, it could take more or less than this.
Our classroom sessions last from 2-3 days, usually consecutively. After your classroom training, you will be given 1 month to complete the final online exam.
Is there a time limit to complete the courses?
You are given 12 months after enrolment to complete your online course. We understand that sometimes circumstances may change, so you may apply for an extension by writing to us at [email protected].
After purchasing a classroom course, you have 12 months to select a course date to enrol on. We recommend enrolling on a course as soon as possible as they can sell out quickly in popular locations.
If you are training with us as part of a corporate training program, your time limit may vary. Please contact your representative within your organization to find out when your training license expires.
